Getting started

Do I need an account to use the app?

No. You can browse, swipe, like, and heart photos and view leaderboards without an account. You only sign in (with Apple) when you want to upload a photo or follow a pet.

How do I post a photo of my pet?

Tap the upload button, sign in with Apple, choose a photo of your pet, add their details, and submit. Every photo passes an automatic safety check before it appears publicly, and you'll be notified when it goes live.

Why was my photo not approved?

Photos must clearly show an animal and pass our automated safety checks. If a photo is rejected, you'll see the reason. You can review rejected uploads in your profile and try again with a different photo.

Likes, hearts & following

What's the difference between a like and a heart?

A like is a quick swipe right in the deck. A heart is a deliberate double-tap on a full-screen photo. Both count toward a pet's stats and leaderboard ranking.

How do leaderboards and Pet of the Day work?

Pets climb daily, weekly, and all-time leaderboards based on the hearts and likes they earn. A new Pet of the Day is crowned every day. City leaderboards group pets by region; we never show a pet's location on its profile.

Managing your account

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, your pets, and your photos from our systems.

How do I manage notifications?

Turn push notifications on or off anytime in the iOS Settings app under Only Floofs.

Safety & reporting

How do I report or block content?

Tap the "•••" menu on any photo to report it or block the pet. Reported content is reviewed, and blocked pets won't appear in your feed. Nothing reaches the app without first passing automated moderation.
